About Us
The Mountain West Partnership is a regional economic development organization serving the seven westernmost counties of North Carolina and the Qualla Boundary. MWP works directly with existing businesses of all sizes to support growth and expansion, address their workforce and infrastructure needs, and connect them with resources. MWP promotes the region, assists companies considering locating in Western North Carolina, and brings business owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and resource partners together to strengthen relationships and discuss the region’s business climate. The Mountain West Partnership is a division of the Southwestern Commission.
